West Harrison Land Clearing & Forestry Mulching
Our yard is right across the state line in Harrison, so West Harrison is about as close as a job gets. Brush, honeysuckle, fence rows and build sites cleared and mulched in place, all year long.
We're basically next door
There's a state line between Harrison and West Harrison, but that's about it. Our trucks go through West Harrison every week, which makes it easy for us to come out, walk your property and get you on the schedule fast.
Most of what we do out here is forestry mulching: brush, honeysuckle and small trees ground down in place, with no burn pile and nothing hauled off. When you need more than that, like a lot opened up for a build or a driveway, we clear what the project needs and leave the rest of the woods.
- Fast walkthroughs because we're already in the area
- Winter clearing when the leaves are down and the ground is firm
- Day-rate jobs you point, we clear, add time if you want
- Mulch stays on site no hauling, no dump fees

West Harrison land clearing FAQs
Can you clear land in the winter?
Yes, and winter is a good time for it. With the leaves off it's easier to see what's worth keeping, and frozen or firm ground means less rutting. Two of our West Harrison jobs were done in January and February.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
Either one. We can give you a hard quote for a defined area, or run a day rate where you point and we clear. A lot of people out here like the day rate for bigger properties.
Do you haul everything off?
No. Almost everything we cut gets mulched and stays on site. That's a big part of why it costs a lot less than traditional clearing, and the mulch protects the soil while it breaks down.
Will the honeysuckle grow back?
Some will, because the roots are still in the ground. The best way to keep it from coming back is a follow-up recut the next season, and we can schedule that for you.
Forestry mulching or land clearing, which do I need?
If you want the brush and small trees gone and the land usable, that's forestry mulching: we grind it in place and leave mulch behind. If the ground has to be ready for something specific, like a house, driveway or barn, that's land clearing, which can add stump grinding and bucket work. Most jobs are a mix, and we'll scope it on the walkthrough.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
It depends on how thick it is, the acreage, the terrain and the finish you want. A lot of residential jobs are done in a day, and bigger acreage runs several days. After a walkthrough you get a written quote, either a hard price or a day rate.
